Re: Plot points based on x axis value

Hello, I'm afraid it's still not possible to plot irregularly sampled data properly - you can show a timestamp on the X axis, just drag the timestamp variable name to the ruler above the plot, but the X axis will still be linear to the sample number, not the time. I'm sorry for the very long delay! ...

Re: Logarithmic scale

I see, yes I see them as two quite different features: Line plots with a time variable on the X axis, and scatter plots where you choose any two variables for the X and Y axis. I understand now that you're voting for scatter plots, possibly with the points connected by lines. It has been noted, and ...

Re: Manual Axis Scaling

Oh I see, so you mean somewhere to simply type in the min and max values of the range? Yes that would make sense, I'm noting it down. Maybe actually also save the scaling factors between sessions, just like colors etc are also saved. Right now you can use the Zoom tool (the magnifying glass in the l...

Re: Logarithmic scale

Hi again Peal! Picking a variable to use as X is actually my most common request, and it's on the top of my list. Long story short, I need to rewrite quite a lot to make it work, so that's what's holding me back, but I have a plan for it and I hope I can release it during 2025. However, your circle ...

Re: Feature Request: Keyboard Shortcuts in tooltips

Thanks for clarifying - now I see what you mean! The reason I didn't put Ctrl in that tooltip is essentially that clicking that button and pressing Ctrl don't do exactly the same thing, because clicking the button sets a new scroll wheel mode, while Ctrl only temporarily allows vertical scroll while...

Re: Feature Request: Keyboard Shortcuts in tooltips

Hello and thank you for your feedback! However I'm not sure which tooltip you're referring to... The toolbar button "Zoom Out Vertically" should show the keyboard shortcut in its tooltip: Screenshot 2024-12-12 181447.png There's another toolbar button "Scroll Wheel Zooms Vertically&qu...

Re: Manual Axis Scaling

Hi Alex, glad you like it! I'm not entirely sure what you mean by side-by-side comparison and and manual axis scaling. Do you have multiple variables with different scale in the same file that you want to compare, or do you want to compare data from different files? Do you want to compare them in th...

Re: Is there a separate exe version of this tool?

Hi Alex, thank you for your feedback! For corporate users I offer an installer that bypasses Microsoft Store - you can read about it here: https://waveworks.dk/flow/downloads.html. I do charge a small fee for this option, which I feel is not entirely unfair.

Best regards,
Gustaf

Re: Feature Request: multiple values in left panel

Hello and thank you for your feedback! Everyone is of course welcome to suggest new features, also free users - it's very useful for me to learn what would provide value for the users, so I know what to prioritize. Your suggestion is a really neat improvement of the existing interface and actually a...
