Re: Link to Older Version

Thank you! As I wrote in an individual mail, the problem is a limitation in how many variables Flow can remember view settings for. I will release a fix as soon as possible where this limitation is removed. Thank you again for taking the time to report the problem!

Best regards,
Gustaf

Re: Link to Older Version

Well there is the option to save the view settings in a project file, which can be found in Preferences under the General tab (I assume we're talking about variable view settings, that is, variable grouping and display settings). But I don't think it will do exactly what you want, so I think we'd be...

Re: Link to Older Version

Hello again,

Before we spend a lot of effort on reverting to an older version: Can you try to go to File -> Preferences -> Data Viewer (or Data Editor) and change Auto distribute variables into groups on opening to Never, and see if that solves your problem?

Best regards,
Gustaf

Re: Link to Older Version

Hello, I'm very sorry about this - this is obviously not the kind of experience I wish for users of Flow. In order to help you revert to an older version, I need to know the following: 1. Did you install/buy from Microsoft Store or directly from the Waveworks website? In the second case, you may be ...

Re: Plot points based on x axis value

Hi Vencenzo, Thank you for the nudge, maybe I need it! :) Unfortunately it requires me to restructure and rewrite the whole plotting component, which will be a lot of work. I hope to be able to start working on it in June, but I don't dare to say when I can release it. Hope you can manage for a whil...

Version 1.1.2 released

Flow CSV Viewer and Editor 1.1.2 has been released. This is a maintenance release that fixes some internal errors introduced with version 1.1.1. For Microsoft Store users, the app should normally update automatically, but if not, open the Microsoft Store app and select Downloads and Updates in the m...

Re: Toggling Auto-reload?

Hello, I have to admit that this use case hadn't crossed my mind, and I'm afraid there is no way to turn it off in the current version. I'll certainly add that option for the next version, but it will be at least a month or two before I release a new version. If you installed the app from the home p...

Re: scaling, store/recall views, colors ...

Hello again, I see what you mean. Yes, formulas and view settings (with view settings I mean things like grouping, colors etc.) are only individually stored for each CSV file in the project. This means that if you add formulas and set up the view for one CSV file in the project, close the file and t...

Re: scaling, store/recall views, colors ...

Hello Alex, thank you for you kind words, I'm glad you find it useful! I understand your problem with comparing plots at different scales. As you say, formulas allow you to define a scaled copy of a variable, but isn't ideal for this. There should be some kind of purely graphical scaling. I'll see w...

Re: Quick 'reload file' option?

Hello again, I have now released version 1.1.1 with multiple improvements to the handling of externally changed files. Please let me know if you still experience problems after the update!

Best regards,
Gustaf
