Re: Feature request: connect point diagonally

Hi, I'm glad you find it useful! Yes this is actually already on my list from a previous request, so I'm noting another request for this feature. Thanks for taking the time to let me know!

Best regards,
Gustaf

Re: Define unit types or ignore quotes in csv file

Glad you solved it! With regard to your question, I assume you're asking about the "Second row is units" in Preferences under CSV Import. "Units" here refers to physical units like seconds, degrees, m/s2 etc. It's quite common in CSV files with measurements to put these units on ...

Re: Define unit types or ignore quotes in csv file

Hello Tony, I'm afraid there is no way to force Flow CSV Viewer to take these values as floats. Flow has a number of heuristics to determine the datatype for each column, and one of them is that if only one value in the column has quotes (or any character that wouldn't appear in a number for that ma...

Re: Disassociation from the Windows Store

Hello, great to hear that Flow has fans! :D It's indeed possible to buy licenses directly from Waveworks, however there is some administrative overhead for both me and the buyer, and Microsoft's cut is actually quite small and reasonable, so for small volumes I do recommend buyers to buy via Microso...

While waiting for the perfect solution, here are some techniques that might help you, if you're not doing them already: In the Preferences, under D...

Re: Formula to change X-axis Values

Hello again, yes it does, you can right-click in the variable view (over the variable names, not over the plots) and select Copy Plot as Image. This will copy the plots that are currently in view to the system clipboard, so that you can paste it into an external editor. It's not based on your select...

Re: Formula to change X-axis Values

Hi again Ulrich,

Do you mean saving as a new CSV file or as an image?

Best regards,
Gustaf

Re: Maximum number of rows?

Thank you for the additional information. I wasn't able to replicate the problem despite using larger files with both more rows and columns. So I think the most probable explanation is that there is something in your data that causes the CSV parser to either skip a lot of rows or exit prematurely fo...
