Re: What is the purpose of selecting a region?
You're right, the Select tool isn't very useful in Flow CSV Viewer. The only thing you can use it for is to get statistics for a range of samples (select the range, then click a variable name, and you'll see min, max, average, stddev etc. below the plots for that variable and range). Upgrade to the ...

Re: Why can't I subtract a constant in an expression?
I have checked and can confirm that this is a bug that affects subtraction of numeric constants from variables ending with an 'e' and when no spaces are used around the minus sign. As a workaround, add a space before or after the minus sign and it should work. Sorry about this and thank you very muc...

Re: timestamps, scatter plots
True there is that workaround, but I think it would be easy to implement, so I think I'll do it! I'm not sure I understand the difference between "linear x-axis" and "true x-y plot" - can you elaborate? But in any case the problem lies in stretching the X-axis so it's linear to a...

Re: Request: line / point rendering
Hello, no I haven't received such a request until now, but I do understand the need for it. So in your CSV file, is the trade column empty for all rows where trade doesn't happen? Anyway, your request has been noted! What you can do for now is to use a formula to convert the trade variable to a stri...

Re: timestamps, scatter plots
Hello! My answers to your four questions/comments below: Yes, a column/variable can only be shown in one group at a time. Would it be useful for you to show the same variable in multiple groups? As for the coordinate systems, all groups share the same X axis, so there is no way to unlock them from e...

Re: Problem with column (variable) names and saving
Hello Cagri, sorry about the trouble! I need you to answer some additional questions to figure out what's going wrong in your case: 1. First of all, when you renamed the CSV file, did you rename it back again afterwards, or did you update the file name in the project file (.flp)? Can you check that ...

Hello David, very glad to know that you find the improvements useful! With "x delta measurement with the cursors", do you mean the same as 2nd data cursor suggested by another user?

Re: timestamps, scatter plots
Hello and thank you for your kind words! I know what you mean, and this is indeed in the pipeline. However it has turned out to be rather complicated because of the intricate caching and optimizations that make painting fast on large data. I actually need to rewrite most of the painting algorithms, ...
