Documentation or basic specs

Post by dduehren »

Would be nice if your description talked about how large of a data set this can handle. From your videos it looks like in excess of 100,000 data points but by how many variables.

Hello, there is no theoretical upper limit on the size of the data file that Flow can handle. That said, working with very large files can become painfully slow depending on the computer's hardware specifications. As an example, the largest file I have tested with was 6 GB with 10 columns and over 100,000,000 rows, and it works, but it's pretty slow on my i7-6700 with 16 GB of memory. On an 8 GB machine I guess Flow would become completely unresponsive, but I can only guess.

For this reason, it's a bit difficult to state any specifications on the web page, but I'll see if I can condense what I wrote above into something generally useful.

Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Gustaf
